there are classes for SAT and i keep hearing about Princeton Review being pretty bad but theres an eye catcher. theyre giving me a pretty good discount, and i was thinking about it. so, how were ur experiences with it and did it help u on the SAT?

uber bump .

they promise a 200 pt increase... I self studied and got an almost 400 pt increase. Helpful? maybe. Necessary? Not quite.

it really depends on your current score. It would be a lot more helpful if you could give us more information.

^^also i heard bout PR giving a free SAT practice test on jan 24th...

are they just going to give out a really hard test on purpose so that the test takers get low scores; making parents inclined to enroll their child in the PR classroom course?

^ haha watch the math be equivalent to
-2=800

xD

why would you take a PR test if you still have BB tests that you haven't gone through yet?

i dont really care about the PR test. the idea that theyre giving me a good discount got me thinking so i just want to know if itll be worth taking the classes with the discount.

Do not take it. It's better if you just self-study yourself.

oh, and just so you know, just because you are getting a discount doesn't mean that everyone else isn't also getting a discount.

If you think about it, it makes sense. Who ever pays the retail price?

yeah i know that. actually, some people do pay the complete retail price. if they gave discounts all the time, then whats the point of saying it'll cost 1000 dollars for tutoring?

it makes you think that you're getting a good deal. So that people like you, who's all like "oh yeah, there's this great discount so I'll take the class even though I wouldn't have taken it before" will take the class, making them more money.

I heard they were horrible.

my friend told me not to take it, and by the many post out there and here saying they suck, i guess its true. w/e then, i guess self studying is the way to go.
