<p>my weakest subject will have to be writing MC (bombed it), but essay for me is okay (got an 11).</p>

<p>everyone i’ve ever talked to said it sucked.</p>
<p>however, do consider getting a knowledgeable professional tutor (who doesn’t work for a company). this will be more costly, but they get results because they actually teach material and care about their students. </p>
<p>remember though, the effort you put into preparation is what provides results. tutors aren’t magicians.</p>
<p>For what it’s worth, my daughter had success with the Kaplan Online ACT and SAT test prep. Much less expensive than a private tutor and most of the classroom test prep courses. It worked for her because she was self-motivated, and too busy to fit the classroom courses into her schedule, plus she is an insomniac so she was able to do the test prep at her convenience, sometimes in the middle of the night.</p>
