Princeton Review free proctored SAT test

Has anyone had any experience with these free proctored SATs? Are PR tests too far off College Board tests to be worthwhile? I called to see if there was a catch, meaning must you sign up for a course in order to get your scores? They assured me that’s not the case. Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

No test is going to be exactly like the real thing. I say if it’s free and you have the time, go for it. You have nothing to lose.

My son the free combo SAT/ACT test that was offered two years ago. My daughter took the free ACT test this past summer. You sign up on the website. Go take the test with a few other kids and they mail you the results in a couple of weeks. You do not get a ton of information but you do get your scores. You are not forced to sign up for any classes. We used it to help decide which test to focus on for test prep.
