I took the Mini-Sat test from the College Board and I got a 1470 estimated score (700 verbal, 770 math).

But then when I took an online practice SAT from the Princeton Review I received a 1320 (650 math, 670 verbal). Is it me or are the Princeton review practice tests harder than the real thing?

Any feedback on this would be much appreciated.

My son is enrolled in the PR tutoring program and has taken several of the tests in the PR book. He'd scored fairly low in that book (especially in math). More recently he'd taken a test in College Board's new book and had done much better! I think PR may make their books tougher than the real tests for "insurance" purposes.

I've found Princeton Review math to be easier than the math on College Board tests, and PR verbal to be harder. I took a practice test for the PSAT this year out of that book, and I got 76 M, 65 V...on the Actual PSAT i got a 67 M, 71 V (i made some really dumb math mistakes on that test though)
