Princeton Review Reading Strategies

how many of you are using the critical reading strategies from the "cracking the SAT" princeton review book, these strategies tell you not to read the passage, but read the blurb instead etc..
and if you are using these, what kinds of scores are you getting?

i have noticed that i do well on the long passages (0-1 wrong) but miss a lot on the vocab, and short passages. I do well on dual passages as well (0-1 wrong) these results are from official SATs from the bb. so overall on reading i get around a 660-680, but peak at 720. i am aiming for 750, so what do you guys think? stick with the strategy, or modify it?

not many eh?
