Ok, so I'm sure you guys are probably all sick of seeing these rankings placing UCLA really high among colleges or whatever, but the Princeton Review just released the new list of top colleges in the United States for value for 2005.

UCLA placed #5 overall, and #1 among any public institution. They are as follows:

1) Bates College
2) New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology
3) Brigham Young University
4) Hendrix College
5) Univ. of California-Los Angeles

What I don't get is why Cal is not on that list. I don't mean to say it should be ranked higher than ucla, but since they basically cost the same and have similar educational experiences they be near each other in the rankings. Just one more reason for me to distrust rankings.

UC Berkeley probably IS on the list. For the past few years I believe its been named a "Best Value". The Princeton Review chose 81 schools in total. Just because it didn't make the top five doesn't mean it was completely excluded.
