Okay so does anyone know what will happen once we log on to the application tracker? I have heard rumors that it shows a tiger saying Congratulations if you got in, is that true?

From the Youtube videos I’ve seen of people getting accepted it is true.

I have decided to devote the weekend before results come out to writing supplements for other schools. Hopefully this will remind me that there are many wonderful schools I can be happy at.

Me too…I’m halfway done with my regular decision applications. I haven’t actually clicked submit on any of them though.

Besides Princeton, I only have two supplements done…I’m hoping to get at least two more done this weekend.

Pretty much all I have left to do are Dartmouth and Hopkins. I’m only applying to 10 schools though.

By the way, it would probably be a good idea to get as many of your apps as possible in by December 15, because most colleges give applicants who apply by that date priority when it comes to getting an interview.

decisions come out on monday!!! ahhh

no has received an email reminder from Princeton yet, correct?

Nope, not yet.

Just out of curiosity (and this might seem odd), how many of you wrote a love letter to Princeton in your application?

Haha I took so many risks on my app it’s crazy…I talked about the book Professor Imani Perry wrote that I read about inequality and wrote a love letter and blahhhh. Pretty dicey.

Just realized today that I stupidly didn’t send in my financial aid form, should I just wait to see if I got in or still try for the financial aid? On the website they say they only have a deadline so it can be seen with admission decisions.

You can take whatever decision you want as there is some wiggle room. I myself would wait until Monday to start filling out the financial aid calculator (it takes about an hour to complete) so that you don’t spend a lot of time just to end up getting rejected or deferred.
Good luck!

Out of curiosity, did anyone submit a research abstract? Are these usually evaluated by professors or the admissions officers? Not sure if I should submit my research (I’m applying RD) and if so, how much scientific information they really want vs. explaining it in a way that the purpose of the project can be understood by anyone, regardless of their science background.

^I didn’t submit an abstract, but a more lengthy summary that could be understood better by admissions officers, because I’m also not sure who reads them.

Only about 3 and a half more days guys! Monday will be here in the blink of an eye.

Man, it doesn’t feel that way.

I submitted an abstract of my research paper cause the admission officer said to submit my abstract…which I assumed meant they didn’t want a less scientific summary

Woooo. Can’t wait

@Timberwolf4life I did submit a love letter! It was on flowery stationary and I was like “I hope you all love my application as much as I love you (which is a LOT)” and on…

I have a music recital tonight. At least that will take my mind off of Monday.
