Princeton SCEA or Columbia ED?

<p>My top two colleges at this point are Princeton and Columbia. The benefit of ED to Columbia is that I can simultaneously do EA to Uchicago and others. Which option yields more benefit for me?</p>

<p>White male, first generation AMERICAN not first generation college, not applying for financial aid, out of state for all colleges I am applying to except my last resort safety school.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.92 unweighted, 4.76 weighted.
SAT: 2360/12 first sitting with 760 critical reading.
Subject Tests: math 2 - 800, french with listening - 790, us history - 770, bio e - 730 first try, 780 second try.</p>

<p>AP: score in parantheses, didn't take class with asterisk
9th grade - Us gov (5)
10th grade - Stat (5), psych* (5), us history (4), russian prototype* (5)
11th grade - Calc BC (5 with 5 ABsub), Econ macro (5), Econ micro (5), phys c mech* (5), French (5), Lit* (5), Lang* (5), Euro* (5)
IB: three 7s, the rest 6s.
I took the IB equialent for some of those APs.</p>

<p>You have a wonderful profile.congrats. your ec’s are great enough. but both the uni are unpredictable. It is hard to tell, but I think Columbia ed will be better though…</p>

<p>It’s whichever school you want. Apply to your dream school because you have the stats to hold your own in the admissions race. Columbia and Princeton have ENTIRELY different locations along with campus life/department strengths/etc.</p>
