<p>I am curious about those questions like favorite book, favorite song, favorite movie etc. If for example the admission officers don't know the book or the song (any of the answers), do they look it up or something?
And what can they really tell from those questions. It is very likely that most (not to say all) applicants put names or things to stand out and boast and not what they may really enjoy.</p>
<p>Yeah I have two VERY closely matched favorite songs, one of which is by a pretty obscure band but has strong meaning for me. I might just use that one.</p>
<p>Pton reiterates that they put that section just to understand more about who you are (do you read Homer and listen to Bach in your free time? Or do you like listening to Steve Vai, reading Steven King?). I’m just going to be honest and personal; I don’t think they’ll think badly of you if they don’t recognize some things you wrote.</p>
