@university2022 lol i was reading an acceptance letter and they had that link so i figured that it might be updated
@throwawayok link to the acceptance letter?
Quick question: Is anyone here expecting that they will receive an acceptance letter? Curious as to the confidence levels of other applicants
@university2022 I wish I were that confident lol
I guess the admitted portal says 403 for everyone rn. I know that Pomona RD last year accidentally allowed students to know if they were admitted by trying to log in (I think).
I have a quiz during the period that this decision comes out so I hope I am able to get through the quiz and not be anxious
@university2022 My confidence is non-existent
@university2022 You gotta keep that confidence down or the decision could be really painful.
@HolaHola2 I am not expecting an acceptance— sorry if my message read that way. Was wondering if anyone was!
I am 100% sure I will not get an acceptance letter lol!
@afh137 exactly the same situation. I have described my decision to take a gap year pretty thoroughly in one of the essays (which you have probably done as well since it is a required essay for us). I really hope that they will look at this positively and see the determination behind our actions.
Btw do you guys want to post stats after the decisions come out to help out the future aspiring Princetonians?
I know other threads do this.
Super nervous! I’ll be fast asleep when the decision comes out!
How’s everyone’s Applicant Portal look this morning Mine is back to normal.
Mine is too
Hey everyone,
I’ve got a question: In the case that you are accepted, do you receive 2 emails (one with the letter of acceptance and one with the financial package) or just 1? Don’t get me wrong, I am very confident I will be deffered but I want to know if the amount of emails I receive from Princeton will already tell me the decision?
He accepted and is attending, enjoying it but it is a heavy workload (engineering), he says lectures are good and never clock-watches unlike high school. Fantastic resources and has had plenty of interaction with faculty. Lots of opportunities and interesting things going on, almost too much!
@woolfie I described it in my Additional information section instead of the main supplement, I didn’t want any of my difficult circumstances to be the center of my qualifications, but just merely quickly considered. And I didn’t see anything about it being required, but lucky I happened to put it in the additional info anyway.
@afh137 wait, there was a required 250 word essay where you have to talk about your ‘education interruption’ (one of the choices there was a gap year). Am I wrong? Did you skip this somehow?
@woolfie that was for a gap year that you might have taken in high school. Not a future gap year that you might want take once admitted!
