Princeton (University) SAT question

Does Princeton accept the highest individual scores or the highest overall scores?

So like,

If I take the SAT and get a 2130, a 760 on writing, but a 1370 on math/critical reading, and then I take it again and get a 2220, with a 1510 on math/crit reading but only a 710 on writing, can I use my 760 instead?

highest overall score

actually i'm not sure, but it sounds weird

individual scores

really? so if get CR: 800 math 500 and CR500 math 800 the second time, my score will be 1600??

Yeah, Princeton takes the highest individual scores. Most, if not all, of the Ivies and other top-tier colleges do this nowadays.
