For the Princeton visual arts supplement, it says that we can upload 20 images in each category (drawing, painting…). I’ve mainly been doing art as a hobby, but thought it couldn’t hurt to submit my works as extra consideration in my application so I submitted 2 paintings (watercolor, acrylic) and 3 drawings (pencil, ink, oil pastel). Now that I think about it, could this possibly harm my chances instead of boosting my application? It did say to submit twenty. I feel like I submitted too little for their consideration D: And Princeton is my top choice school, so I’m extra paranoid about this. Please give me your opinions!
It sounds like you are stuck in the “what ifs”. There is nothing that can change your application at this point so try to let it go. I would seriously doubt the outcome of your admissions decision hinged on submitting precisely the correct number of works. Most applicants are going through a myriad of self doubts as they wait for an admissions decision. Try to focus elsewhere.
You’re right. I’ve been trying to get my mind off but it’s so hard!! I just wish I knew my decisions/rejections already…
