Princeton vs Columbia

Holas–you have now posted on at least three or four threads, basically telling students that Princeton is the inferior choice compared to many other schools. While I understand that your brother may have had a bad experience at the school, that is definitely not true for the vast majority of students attending Princeton. Princeton’s social life is generally excellent–lots of parties, lots of theater and dance and an extremely diverse welcoming student body. Its academics are outstanding and it is just a terrific school. Columbia is also a great school and very different from Princeton in many ways. It is urban, has a core curriculum and some students feel that the social life does not occur on campus because NYC provides so many options.

I would recommend that anyone faced with two such wonderful choices visit the schools and then decide. I think that your posts, which are somewhat mean-spirited, don’t really contribute much to the discussion (I’m not trying to censor you, but posts such as “Haha it won’t be number 1 next year” are uncalled for).
