I need help deciding between harvard and princeton (undergrad):
-I am looking to study humanities
-prestige/reputation/rankings are not factors at all (please don't write about them, I literally could not care less)
-I care a lot about the atmosphere/attitude of students
-I'm generally a laid back kind of person

Well, have you visited? What vibe did you get?

I can’t speak for Harvard, but when I visited Princeton it definitely seemed like a laidback sort of place. Their Humanities is also fantastic. Even with ranking, their basically on the same level and there is no difference.

Princeton students are friendlier and (slightly) more laid back than Harvard students. IMO

I would agree with fauve. My son is at Princeton, his best friend at Harvard. Harvard is a fantastic school. Absolutely fantastic. But doesn’t tend to appeal so much to the laid back as Princeton does. It’s all the lawns, and the slightly warmer weather. Oh, and The Street.
