Princeton Vs Stanford

Whats up!!

My name is Diego (you can call me frodo Though) and I am from Guatemala. I have been for the past weeks in the difficult decision of choosing among the colleges that admited me and got down to these two: Princeton and Stanford. I want to study engineering (not shure if EE, CS, ME) because I want to research in Artificial Intelligence and robots. I feel Princeton has a great undergrad program, and is the best (with Cornell) among the Ivies in engineering, but Stanford has far greater reputation on engineering. I was wondering if stanford would give me better chance to enter the top grad schools for engineering than Princeton. At the end I just cant find a reason for one college over the other. Some advice please!!!!!!!!

Coming from a warm climate, I would say Stanford...I am from California and I am going to Princeton because I want a break from Cali. Plus Princeton is a dream of mine because I want to study public policy at Woody Woo.

For you, Stanford is ranked in the top three for undergrad and grad engineering so I think that Stanford would be the best school for you (that is painful to say)

what i meant to say is that the west coast climate may suit you better than the east coast would.

Stanford is amazing for engineering.

Either will take you where you want to go. Its really just which would you would prefer. West coast or Northeast?

It's hard to beat Stanford for engineering. Congratulations and good luck to you.
