High school class of 2012? So you graduated already? Did you take a year off?

Anyway, without your SAT scores, it’s impossible to give you an accurate idea. However, even with them, it is still an inexact science to say the very least.

Acceptance to Princeton, like all the other Ivy Leagues, is unpredictable. You have to be in the right place at the right time, so to speak.

All of your stats and ECs look quite average. I wouldn’t say you are competitive for Princeton, but sometimes something you forgot to include on that list can be the deciding factor at an Ivy League school. To be totally honest, though, I don’t think you have a very good chance.

I don’t know your situation, but you should probably start to show interest, write amazing essays, get equally amazing letters of recommendation, and start to think of the things that you’re passionate about. Let your passion come through when writing your essays and filling out the common app.

Sorry I can’t help you any more.

Best of luck,

 • Mike

You;re not giving us much relevant information.

What is your class rank or percentile? Does your school not offer AP classes? Are the highest classes you can take honors classes? If not, how many AP courses does your school offer and why haven’t you taken any? Is your school such that most students remain close or at home? What is your SAT or ACT score? and what state are you from?
