Princeton's Engineering Essay

I'm planning on majoring in Engineering, but I've never had an actual exposure to engineering. I am however good at math/phys/chem and I've done physics research in a lab. Would talking about the research be appropriate?

These are the instructions:
If you are interested in pursuing a B.S.E. (Bachelor of Science in Engineering) degree, please write an essay describing why you are interested in studying engineering, any experiences in or exposure to engineering you have had, and how you think the programs in engineering offered at Princeton suit your particular interests.

If anyone did fill this part out, could you guys share what kind of info you put down?

I did..... I want to major in engineering too... And I wrote about what really got me interested in engineering and what I plan to do on becoming an engineer. However, both my parents are engineers and thats how I had an exposure to engineering, so I talked about that a little too... I think writing about research is fine, just relate it to how it developed an interest in engineering in you

i wrote about my research experience in theoretical (math) and experimental (engineering) science
