<p>Since this was brought up in another thread, thought I’d post some tips for those wanting to store printers over the summer. </p>
<p>Asked a tech person who told me that laser printers are fine to store, as the toner is dry. Just make sure to shake the cartridge before use when return.</p>
<p>Ink jet printers are the printers that have problems with storage/lack of use.</p>
<p>If you’re unsure of whether your printer will be okay, it would be a good idea to ask a local computer tech shop for advice, as they’re the ones who are likely to repair such failed equipment. </p>
