<p>and how about the things i can do in terms of showing UC berkeley i am dedicated and i would be a perfect match for their school? which kind of officials could i talk to, to learn more, and get to know them on a personal level? like for example, would beginning a relationship with a professor in the major i'm going into help? could i get his recommendation when it comes time to applying to berkeley?</p>
<p>and also, when you applied as a transfer student, did they make you declaer your major? bc i just called someone who works there, and she said that everyone, even juniors, get into berkeley undeclared and that sounded wrong.</p>

<p>Hi, I was wondering if you knew or heard of anyone at Cal that was a transfer student from another UC or a 4 year private university. I realize that transfer priority is given to CCC students and that I probably should be happy with going to UC Davis, but Cal has always been the school I have wanted to go to and they have SUPERB Biochemistry, which is what I want to study. If you have any knowledge on this type of a transfer I would be most appreciative. Also thank you Combo Plate for setting up this thread!</p>
