<p>My daughter received a priority application from one of her top choices ... a school she was applying EA to anyway. Do you think this means that she has a good chance of acceptance? She is very excited!</p>
<p>^probably has a really good chance, but you have to keep in mind some schools send priority apps to like half the nation, so take it with a grain of salt.</p>
<p>What about merit scholarship money ? If a student recevies a priority app, do they have a good chance at some money? In light of the terrible economic news, money is a very important issue!</p>

<p>A lot of the "priority applications" I have received indicate that I am going to automatically be considered for merit aid. I assume that means he/she has a chance, or at least will not have to complete extra paperwork in order to be considered.</p>
