Priority Applicant Decision Thread

S got accepted to College of Arts and Humanities, though he applied to Smith School of Business. He was also accepted to the Global Communities program. Does anyone know the average GPA of those who transfer internally into the B school? I hear it is quite competitive. Thanks!

Guys, don’t feel “slighted” for not getting into honors (if you didn’t). Scholars is a great program too. Maryland is known for its Living & Learning Communities. It’s definitely something to be proud of.

@srcoghlan End of February/Early March

Both Honors and Scholars are great programs. The school, of course, is great as well.

Does anyone know anything about CIVICUS?

Son admitted to Letters and Sciences. Always good to hear from that first one!

Is anybody else’s preview for the housing agreement form all messed up (unchecked boxes, wrong year)? I don’t want to submit knowing this preview is all out of whack.

Accepted to engineering and scholars!

@superstarlala can u copy and paste the letter u received plz!

@Tommybo Okay, but why?

@superstarlala Just checking, I don’t know wether I am accepted to scholars program. So, I want to compare the wordings.

rather than on this thread. Thank you.

Golfmommy, if your child was admitted to the business school then it was a direct admit. If child was admitted to Letters and Sciences despite having applied to the business school, then child was not admitted to business. He or she will have to transfer in. You can see the transfer info in a post made earlier by maryversity in this thread.

I found that info. I’m not liking this new search function, but here the transfer info is:

I bet online purchases of t-shirts and hoodies increases by 50% or more over the next 2 weeks!

Accepted to a Government and Politics major, with College Park Scholars!
