<p>I’m guessing there might be a link, but if you go to UMD’s website in Admissions and click on Apply, there’s another link to check admission status. </p>
<p>The professor for my HEIP144 honors class at UMD said he received an email saying admissions letters were being mailed out today and decisions would likely be online tonight, probably 5:00pm</p>

<p>@maryversity - As this is my third child going through the process I’m aware of the follow-up letters and such. Again the anxiety is heightened by the online access to the portal, to email, repeated checking in by both parents and the student continuously throughout the day… I liked it the old way… son/daughter get home, check the mail box and if nothing check tomorrow… less stressful</p>

<p>@Doberlady- A lot of Spring admits do the Freshman Connection program and live in apartments right off campus (the View or Varsity) during the fall semester. Through that program, you can still take UMD courses, just they are at different times (often evening).</p>
