If you apply after does it hurt your chances a lot?

What’s priority application? Do you mean Early action or Early Decision?

In general, when a deadline is given, regardless of what it is, the one giving the deadline expects that deadline to be met. You shouldn’t be asking about chances ---- you should be asking about the deadline date and what you can do to meet that deadline.

On the University of Delaware website it says regular decision 1/15 and priority application deadline 12/1, so I was jw what the deference was.

Priority deadline can mean multiple things depending on the school. Sometimes it means that if you apply after the priority deadline you may not be considered for a highly desirable major. It can also mean whether you will be considered for university-administered funds, including scholarships, and institutional and Federal grants depending on whether there are funds remaining. It’s probably best to contact the individual school to inquire what they mean by it. As someone mentioned beforehand, you probably want to meet all deadlines ahead of time if you want to get the full benefit of applying to that college.

Hope this helps,
