Priority Deadline: Before nov 8 right?

<p>Hey guys, so i applied on novermber 7, 2011. I live in MD, and a lot of people were assuring me that the priority deadline was pushed even for people in MD. Now we weren't greatly affected by the snow, but we were hit by a decent snow storm. So as the procrastinator and fool that i am...i applied before the extended deadline of november 8th. </p>

<p>So am i still considered for priority deadline? a lot of people are saying in these forums that they applied november 1st, and no one has said much about the extended deadline.
Hopefully someone has a solid answer. i really don't want get my hopes up for a decision on friday or the 31st, and find out that i applied regular decision. And we all know how hard it is also to get into UMD for regular decision. </p>

<p>but technically i was affected in a way right? i mean how will they know if i was affected by the storm or not?</p>

<p>I mean you stated that you lived in MD in your application and we haven’t had anything more than flurries in the metropolitan area. I think it snowed in like Kentucky or something.</p>

<p>Western Maryland (I think) and Pennsylvania and above were seriously affected. Most MD was unaffected. I do not think we would count as “affected areas” although they would not really be able to know.</p>
