What are some ways to get priority enrollment?
besides... being in a cluster or a regent scholar?

honors program, athlete, aap

Peers......................................

peer advising network

Applying for AAP is a good one

what are the requirements for you to get into aap?

Becoming an AAP student

lol in other words, no way in hell am i getting it.

if you meet the qualifications, i HIGHLY recommend the honors program.
even if you quit the honors program before doing anything "honors" (which i doubt you will, because it gives you many cool opportunities other students don't have). but if you did it, say, for only a year, you'd get two quarters of priority enrollment, all for writing 500 words in the application essay. pretty sweet deal, especially for first-years.
as for your first quarter, the best way to get the classes you want is by going to the earliest orientation session possible. trust me it pays off... otherwise 8am classes will plague you until december, all because you didn't go to orientation in july!

YES orientation 101 was so sweet. A lot of people who went to later ones, even just the third or fourth, told me that they were stuck in classes they didn't want.

On the subject of enrollment, what were your guys' appointment times?

you mean for fall quarter? hmm. don't remember but it was about a week before first pass...
used it on anthro 7 (NEEDED IT!) and another class that didn't really need it. used first pass on my cluster and 3 fiat luxes.
used second pass to drop two of the aforementioned FLs (cuz i'm lazy like that...)

public service announcement: spring quarter class schedule is up on feb 5, and enrollment appt times are up feb 7! woot!

I meant spring. They're already up on ursa. Thanks though!

spring quarter class schedule: feb 5
enrollment appt times feb 7!

kthx

they aren't up on ursa yet... are you sure that's what you're looking at?
can't check right now anyways cuz ursa doesn't reopen til 6pm.

the times are up on the registrar's site

Where is the registrar's website?

wow i didn't realize appt times were all on the registrar's site... nice to know!

honors program, athletes, AAP, PAN (i think), alumni scholarship, regents scholarship, GE cluster (like you said)

that's all i know of.

Being in AAP does NOT guarantee PRIORITY ENROLLMENT.

You have to check with an AAP counselor by the third week of the quarter to see if there is any reason why you should be eligible for PRIORITY ENROLLMENT.

I asked about my priority enrollment eligibility as an AAP student today and refused because I did not ask them about it before the third week of the quarter...
