Priority Filing = Deadline? Please HELP!

Hey,

So I JUST found out about the College Board's Financial Aid PROFILE today.
BUT the school that I want to apply to (Emory University) said that its Priority Filing is on February 15th.

Does this mean that I won't be able to receive financial aid while attending Emory?
What exactly is Priority Filing and Early Filing? And what are the consequences for not filling out the form on time?

The school also requires that we have our taxes filed by March 1.
Well my mom has already filed her taxes (I live with her so I don't think I need my dad's tax returns), but I haven't filed mine yet! Would they accept estimates or do they actually want me to mail in the tax form to them?

Thanks for all the help!!!

I think you need to call Emory directly to ask this question because each college has its own policy about deadline.

You can put estimated value on the CSS/Profile but you I need to send tax forms to IDOC (or to Emory if it does not use IDOC. Check Emory web site or call them). Do you really have to file your own income tax return? If your income is less than a certain amount specified by the IRS then you don’t need to file your tax return (you send a Non-Filer form in this case).
