Hi, I have a question for priority filling..

I submitted my online application on the 10th of November, which was 5 days before the deadline for priority filling. However, i haven't recieved my reference letters and bank statements so i sent those in on the 18th of November, which was PAST the deadline for priority filling.

Now on the status menu i see that my application is considered as "regular admssion".. does that mean i missed the priority filing?

Also, i forgot to request Collegeboard and Toefl to send in my scores..should i send my scores as soon as possible? or it doesn't matter if it arrives like 3 weeks later? wil there be difference in the admission chance?

It says "Regular Admission" for everyone. I know because I had all parts of my app completed by Sept 11 and mine says it. However, you DID miss deadline. Everything had to be in by Nov 15 to be considered for priority admissions. Also, TOEFL is one of the required parts of the application so you have to have it in before they will look at your application.

i see, another question is: will the admission chance be higher if i submit everything earlier? So I should request Toefl and collegeboard to send in my scores as soon as possible? or it doesn't matter because they will treat me as regular admissions anyways..

Since recommendation letters are not used for admission, the failure to send those means nothing. However, the failure to send proof needed for an international to show financial ability to pay, and SAT and Toefl scores likely puts you beyond priority date consideration. All required things are supposed to be in their hands (not just mailed) by Nov 15 for priority date consideration. Moreover, your application will not be considered for admission at all until you get all required things in including those offical test scores.

Note that prioity date gives those who have everything in by Nov 15 only "some" advantage -- they will be reviewed first and receive a decision on December 15 (which could be admit, reject, or deferred for consideration until after all apps are in; and that last one will probably happen to a large number because they like to hold back on a lot of final decisions until they see the make-up of the entire pool of applicants); those applying beyond the priority date (and those deferred) will get a decision March 1. "Regular admissions" itself really means nothing as all freshman full-time student admissions are deemed to be "regular admissions" regardless of whether you make the priority date or not.

suppose one complete an app on 9/20 vs someone who complete it on 10/20.
Do both decisions come out at the same time? No one has any advantage over the other?
(I know the advantage may be small, but for many rolling schools completing 9/20 rather than 10/20 means reviewing earlier and thus increasing the chance)
