Thanks

No no, it was for priority review …

@EdWood09

Thanks for confirming I have applied to ED 11 and i have not still heard anything so far, so wondering. Thanks

Did anyone else get acceptance notification here ??

Not yet. but i think they said mid february or “by February 15”

Did anybody get this email?
Dear ****,

Once again, thank you for your completed application for admission to the University of Rochester.

We’d like to confirm that the mailing address we have on file for you is accurate. This ensures that you will receive all communications from the Office of Admissions in a timely manner.

If this is information is correct, no further action is required.

If it is incorrect, log in to your MyROC account at http://enrollment.rochester.edu/myroc</a> and provide us with the correct address where mail should be sent.

Does that mean Priority Review is getting it soon?

^ I just got that email.

I got that as well. We are supposed to get out decisions on the 15th, so this is probably right on track with that - giving lots of time for changes to be made with the admissions office, etc.

Mine says “complete” after I scanned my midyear report to my profile yesterday

It says the latest to send Midyear grades is March 1, and decisions will be out Feb 15 so you can get away without sending them right?

That’s a good way to get less than a positive decision - they aren’t stupid.

My tracker showed up again and it says that the committee is making a decision

Same here  and @jschoolio, my school is on a trimester system so our winter grades don’t come out until the first week of March either. Colleges know that, and expect to receive them anyway. Not sending midyear grades would be a very poor choice, since it is a required document for admission (even if it comes after the deadline). Think of it like your high school diploma. They may offer you admission without seeing that document, but they still expect to see it and failure to send it in is a bad choice (correct me if my analogy is wrong).

@colin2014 @LAMuniv Finally! It looks so organized! It looks like the UofR is on schedule with sending out decision letters. But if we’re supposed to get them next week, shouldn’t they be finishing the committee review like really soon?

@Mmorkous96 Presumably, yep. I don’t know how long the committee reviews usually take, though - for all I know, they may only take like 15 minutes for each application, and there’s probably not that many PR applicants as opposed to RD and maybe ED, so the fact that we’re in step 4 doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re behind.

Bets of luck to everyone!

Yeah, Mine’s on Step 4 as well. I hope everyone here gets the good news. It has been a tiring wait, now only a week more to go ! Btw, @LAMuniv , is there anyway to know the acceptance rate for PR ? I don’t seem to find any .

@EdWood09, I can’t find any official information on that, as curious about it as I am. I’ve read some speculative posts about it being slightly higher than the regular decision acceptance rate, which was 35.5% in 2013, but I don’t think those posters have any stats to support that theory.

I just realized that I, a prospective English major, misspelled “best” in my last post… I’m great…

@lamuniv I remember last year’s regular decision acceptance rate is 30.9% from ny times

Huh, you’re probably right; I was just reading from a quick Google search.
