Rochester Admissions tweeted yesterday that they are mailing admission decisions today!

@Bluedog123 Well, February 15th is the deadline for the CSS profile (and the fafsa), so my money would be on coincidence.

Thanks… I submitted his CSS application months ago… weird coincidence that they requested upload of documents to IDOC this morning. Oh Well… have to wait to get the letter!

awesome guys post when you get your letters!

Wait, so we won’t find out about priority admittance online today?

No.Think tues-thurs. depending on where you live.

Good luck everyone

Can’t wait to hear when people start getting their letters! Hopefully all of you in New York got yours today or will get yours tomorrow! :D

Anyone know if these letters will have information about merit or need based financial aid?

Hi, I would like to know. …after we submit the fafsa with an estimate of 2012 we can go back and change the filing status and input the corrected amount of taxes? Because I plan on having my taxes done within this upcoming week.

Would we then get an estimated package from the university if admitted?

Sent from my SGH-T989 using CC

I believe if you file electronically wait 2 weeks (mail 6 weeks) and then you log back into your fafsa account. go into make changes. go to the parent section where you hit ‘will file’ and change to ‘filed’. this will direct you to irs site that will complete the transfer of information from the 2012 tax return.

You can go in and change FAFSA online, but UR also requires the CSS Profile–which cannot be changed online once submitted. You will need to make changes on a paper copy and mail it to the FA dept. (Contact FA first to get specific directions on how to do this.)

Admission letters do not have merit* or need-based FA included in the letters. Within about 10 days of acceptance, your student will receive an email with a link to their FA account. Any awards will be listed there.

There are a few exceptions to the above, particularly for students selected to interview for Rennaissance/Genesee Scholarships.

Has anyone from the NY/NJ area received their decision letter yet?

NJ - not in today’s mail!

Yeah I’m from NJ too and I didn’t get it today. I guess we’ll have to wait until Tuesday…

Western NY - DS’s letter of acceptance arrived today! Good luck everyone.

Was it a big white package that said “welcome” on the front with yellow and blue colors like the early decision packets?

Yes, that’s exactly what the envelope looked like. :)

We are on LI and still waiting. Would love to see that envelope on Tuesday!!!

Did they send out the rejection letters as well as the acceptance letters? Or are they going to send out the rejection letters at a later date?
