"Priority" "VIP" Applications?

<p>Are alot of you out there getting these "Priority" or "VIP" applications where they wave the application fee and essays and let you know acceptance in 4 weeks?</p>

<p>I have received several including Tulane and Drexel. Should I apply to those schools?</p>

<p>It looks as though this is your plan anyway, but I strongly suggest taking the ACT, especially since you're trying for places like Yale and Harvard. According to the College Board conversion chart, my score on the ACT was about 200 points higher on the SAT scale than my real SAT was--2200ish v. 2000. I'm extremely English-oriented, as you seem to be, and the format of it somehow appealed to that part of me so I was able to do much better.</p>

<p>I try not to speak to people's chances much because I don't have any experience with it, but I think if you manage to do well on the ACT (or an SAT retake) your chances will improve a lot. Your GPA is very good. The only thing really hindering you seems to be the 1870.</p>
