<p>it think its fine to get ppl to check over your essays add some input.
but when the essay is totally writen by someone else its pathetic that you cant write a one page essay.
and many of the top private counsellors used to be deans of admissions, they know exactly what the school is looking for. i know ppl buy their way in all the time but i just dont think its right to have inside info. its like insider trading.
your saying what they want to hear but its not you. its fake. </p>

<p>it can also be risky someone had a proffesional writer, write their essay for them but the adcoms saw right through it bc it didnt match her sat writing.</p>

<p>i think people need to quit trying so damn hard to get into an ivy. either you qualify or you dont. either you are smart enough, or youre not. its one way or another.</p>

<p>I have heard of people using college coaching, however. I can see where if you had plenty of money to pay for it, and you didn't think your kid was going to get into a good school you could use it. They like..help you plan from day 1 what you need to do to get into top schools. I couldn't have afforded it, and my parents wouldn't have done it for me anyway.</p>
