So far I've found that pictures of UPenn and Georgetown are simply stunning.
What other private colleges have truly beautiful campuses?

Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. It is a GREAT deal $$$ wise and may be a good safety. Pepperdine is also very beautiful and New College of Florida.

Cornell U, baby!

I would say that Pepperdine is hands-down the most beautiful, all things considered. I personally loved Dartmouth’s campus as well, but that’s more of a personal opinion.

Georgetown doesn’t really look very nice but its in a great location and is a great school so those factors are redeeming.

Flagler College is pretty nice, and the surrounding area (downtown St. Augustine) is really cool.

Princeton is very nice. I hear Boston College, Notre Dame, & Cornell are ascetically pleasing as well.

Just looked up Boston College, Notre Dame, and Cornell… breathtaking.

Here is top ten of the Princeton Review 2009 rankings for Most Beautiful Campus:

Princeton
Sweet Briar
Colgate
Wagner
Mt Holyoke
Scripps
Notre Dame
U of Richmond
U of San Diego
College of the Holy Cross

I also really like Stanford’s campus, but I’ve heard different opinions regarding it.

lol, in most conversations about this, the first guy says its the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen and the next says he thought he was at taco bell.

duke (there are amazing pictures on the class of '13 fb group, if you’d like to see :D)
stanford
penn (to some people… its kinda urban)
princeton
ucla

rice and princeton

I thought Pepperdine had amazing views more than a beautiful campus. Could be sour grapes though (no merit money!).

Pepperdine, Princeton, Notre Dame, Rice, and MIT and Stanford sometimes.

I think Notre Dame is best known across the country for its beautiful campus, more than any other school.

SMU, Rice, and TCU are also really impressive campuses.

MIT? definitely not a beautiful campus lol

Duke, Princeton, Holy Cross, Dartmouth.

there is already a really long thread about this…just sayin

I’ve seen Boston College’s campus… It’s pretty nice.

I like JHU’s campus… There are cute baby rabbits that hop around the quads CUTE!

MIT’s campus… I live right next to MIT. hehe, It’s like an industrial warehouse setting with the train tracks and nuclear power plant MIT’s biopark is very beautiful though (an award winning design) by Forest City Enterprises.

The MIT campus is a work of modernist art. One of the most expensive campuses, but at the same time…ignorant people think it’s very ugly. Only people that really can appreciate something out of the box that’s really modernist will think MIT looks good.

^ I’ve taken AP Studio art in high school. MIT’s campus is really butt ugly… (i tried to be very polite on how I framed MIT’s campus. The main building (Building 7) is very beautiful. Stata center is very beautiful.

Being next to this:

“Most people will tell you that MIT has an ugly campus. And, in general, I tend to agree, in the sense that the campus is mostly the opposite of pretty. But it is an ugliness that I like. This article from 1999, which I think may be one of the most insightful articles ever written about MIT by an outsider (and look for the familiar name quoted in it!), talks about MIT being different from other universities, more like a government (or these days, government and corporate) research lab, the “Los Alamos of the East”.”

I absolutely have no qualms about living to next to a “not so pretty” campus. It’s the type of ugly that I like I get the “stop effing around and let’s invent something that can change the world type feeling” Whenever I am around MIT.
