Private Loan without cosigners

Ok, so I really don't have anyone in mind that could be my cosigner since my mom income is like ~15K-17K so I don't think she is eligible. I only need to borrow 3000 more to be able to afford next semester (so don't tell me to choose a cheaper college since I already am in college). Do you think it would be a problem without a cosigner when I just need to borrow that much? And which private lenders actually let you borrow without cosigners?

And the reason I waited til now to borrow Private because I just turned 18

I do not know of private loans that an 18 year old without assets for collateral, and a credit history can obtain. Others may have suggestions on that front.

Has your mom tried applying for a Parent PLUS loan? If she applies and is denied you would be eligible for about another 4500 in federal student loans for this school year. If she is approved she could take the loan in her name, and you could work to pay her back.

Are you a freshman? You will be able to borrow more and more each year in federal loans, but maybe not as much as you will need to cover costs at your current school.
