Private Music Lessons

What kind of oppurtunities are available at Princeton for private music study? Like at Connecticut College, anyone who feels like learning an instrument can take lessons for free. Is this possible at Princeton? I've always wanted to learn violin, and I think that would be an amazing oppurtunity.

I know someone taking private lessons - they arent completely free from what I heard, but they are highly subsidized.

Of course, this may be based off of financial aid - im not very sure.

There are music lessons for keyboard instruments, string instruments, woodwind instruments, brass instruments, percussion, jazz improvisation, and voice.

Like TheMoment said, the cost of lessons is subsidized, so I think you should definitely take violin lessons if you want to. It says on the website that the deadline for private music lessons has passed =/, so check in early 2009

MUSIC LESSONS ARE NOT FREE!!! Unless you’re getting a certificate in music or majoring in it! Or at least taking a class, then I think it’s half subsidized.

If you’re in the orchestra or the symphonic band lessons are half off. They’re also half off if you’re in Glee Club/ any acappella group.
