-ucsd

please chance me wit suggestions and don't be harsh please just because of my sat i scores cause i hecka messed up on them (and that was my first time taking them)

I assume you do not mean an Native American. Your SAT I average is 540 per section, but did you do well in one say math? Are you going to a Catholic HS? And can someone of note in the Church write you good recommendations particularly related to character? I think SAT II are a way to perhaps salvage you scores, but choose carefully. If the answers to the above are yes you probably can get into USF. On the face of it, it may be tough. I would retake SAT I, use a book to study. If you can get in to USF you are probably ok for Santa Clara or St. Mary's of CA (close to SF relatively).

i'm asian indian and i know that my score will go up. i been studying from the blue book (college board study guide) and i'm getting about 1250 for critical reading and math. hope this will be enough and what does it mean "sat II are a way to perhaps salvage your scores" do u guys recommend early decision! and no i'm not catholic nor do i go to a cathole hs. i go to a really really competitive hs. can u guys add ur opinion and not just read it and not reply. thanks a lot. and may god bless u guys

My opinion: a 625 average on SAT sections (which is the 1250 you're shooting for) is not good, but I don't really know anything about how competitive admissions processes for the UCs are. I do know that you'd have trouble getting into the places I've been researching (HYPSM, top liberal arts colleges, etc.) with those scores.

well i don't want to go to a liberal arts college. i just want to go to USF and i went to their orientation and their sat scores were low and acceptance rate was high??? i just wanted some opinions on some peoples experience applying to these schools i mentioned. so thanks, but i just want to ask that doesn't gpa matter more for privates and such and also i took three classes at the college and thank god my gpa @ a junior college is a 4.0 so far. so won't they consider my college experience?!?!?!?

please anyone anyone anyone. thanks in advance

I'd saw with a 625 on each section your in very good shape for USF - their 75th percentile is actually around 630, and so you'd have a very strong chance of getting in, esp. with that GPA as well. Don't worry, just try to get 600 on those sections and then you'll be set. Good luck!

thanks guys and don't be shy to reply and hopefully chance me thanks thanks thanks thanks

and now i better start studying

To echo your sentiment, "get a life and pray you get in somewhere."
