Private Tutor for the Sat's

hey guys i wanted to know how do you get your own private tutor for the sat's
i live in the new jersey and if any of you know how to get private tutor in that tri-state reigon can you please help me

I'm hoping to score in the high 700's on all three sections
If there are any companies study groups, or etc.

can you please list them!!!!!!

Kaplan gives private tutors. I know they say don't use Kaplan, but if its a PT, I don't see why you can't ask him/her some questions.

is kaplan the best tutor out there

I doubt it. My friend's SAT tutor is a professor at Rider or something. Maybe try a google search? Or ask people you know.

I know PR offers private tutoring services as well.

I'm a tutor with Kaplan Test Prep and I am currently tutoring many people who have tried an independent tutor for the Spring exams and are unhappy with their scores so they turned to Kaplan. In the Tri-State region (if you're in Northern New Jersey), Kaplan tutoring is run through Kaplan Premier which is their tutoring arm of their division.

The prices for Kaplan's tutors are consistent based on the hours (i.e. there is no additional charge for a "better" tutor.) If you do call the number to ask for tutoring, be very specific about the kind of tutor you want and demand that you want one with significant test prep experience who has helped other students achieve the upper 700's on the exam.
