<p>What I meant was, 75% of the accepted URM's would have been AUTOMATICALLY rejected had they been white. This, however , does not count those admitted for special talents... i.e. Music, Sports, Art.</p>

<p>nothing that new really though, the story is the same when you look at female admissions in many cases (especially at some tech schools) and of course other URM's like hispanics and native americans - such is the nature of AA</p>

<p>I'm sure you'll see even more debate as the growing hispanic population influences college admissions.</p>
