Do colleges recognize a difficult private school over a public school? I'm currently taking AP Physics C, and I have an A first quarter and probably a B second quarter. I know some kids at good public schools in the same course and they haven't started calc based physics and get easy A's. The same goes for my AP Calc BC, B first quarter and B or C second. My school has pretty much 100% 4s and 5s on Bio, Calc BC, and Phys C, but colleges won't see my scores, just my grades.

They will realize that you have hard classes. They get profiles of schools and can see the test score averages, etc. Hopefully your rank is good, as that will give them some insight into your school.
