Private VS. Public School--what do I do?

I'm a sophmore, and I'm considering switching to a private catholic school 2nd semester, because I've been unhappy with my school again this year.

Public School:
3,000 kids total

My grades aren't great. I just can't seem to do well or focus. 2.3 GPA freshmen year...:( (Not much better this year. 1 A, 2 B's, 1 C, 1 D)

My classes are somewhat rowdy. Some kids who just don't care, and can't be controlled, therefore, I'm not doing well because of there problems. Biology for example.

I can't seem to find my place or get involved because it is so political and competitive. I want to play volleyball, but I can't, because it is impossible.

No uniforms (thats my own thing. I like uniforms better, lol.)

Lots of class choices. Like electives and such.

I'm kind of sad about leaving a few girls and guys, and one teacher.

I may miss driving to school.

Private School:
800 kids total (at the most! I'm not completley sure.)

Uniforms-Yay!! lol

It is a catholic school, I am catholic, so it is a good thing in a way.

One of my friends said the girls are kind of stuck up and b!tchy.

Classes would be controlled, and I think I could do really well there.

Not as many elective choices however.

Easier to get involved. I could most likely play volleyball next year (junior).

Parents would pay, and don't mind if I go there, my parents would like it better if I went there actually I believe.

Smaller school would benefit me better.

I don't know anyone there, except one girl. :(

I wouldn't be able to drive to school until next year. No biggie though.

Any other quesions I'd be happy to answer. What do you guys think I should do. My grades at public school aren't dependent on me getting into private school, they will take me. They took a girl flunking out of her old school.

Help!

Is there no opportunity for Club Volleyball in your city? You could be playing volleyball to improve your skills and then try out at either school. Club volleyball is a big thing....tournaments and all.

I am playing club volleyball. However, it's not going to matter come high school season. If I stay at my school...I will not make it.

I am glad to hear you are playing club.......many kids play school and club. Your school must be very competetive for sports....and only one team?

if you can get into this private school with any grades, I question it's rigor, what s it's matriculation like.

Sounds like a pay to play school from this description.
