<p>I guess they’ll compare your GPA with other students from your school previously applied. They’ll also take into account of your standardized test score.</p>
<p>I guess it would depend on the school. My son’s gc’s say gpa’s from his school (private, boarding) are pretty much bumped up by about 0.5, which does seem accurate when you look at the Naviance Data on which schools kids gained admittance to and their respective gpa’s.</p>
<p>At our local public, grades are inflated and everything is weighted (a lot!), so a high gpa is not necessarily meaningful.</p>
<p>I agree with the above, I think it will be considered. That being said, remember, an A is an A and a B is a B.</p>
