Professional football isn't worth paying attention to around here. For college football, you just have to know the name of the quartback (Chad Henne, usually referred to as just Henne) and say that he sucks, and the coach's name (Lloyd Carr, usually just referred to as Lloyd) and that he should be fired, and that the running back (Mike Hart, usually referred to as Mike Hart) is OMGZ awesome, and you'll be a typical Michigan football fan.

To recap:
Henne sucks!
Fire Carr!
I love you Mike Hart!

Time will tell on Hart....injuries and a subpar offensive line by Michigan standards contributed to some of his struggles last year though he showed signs of what he can be. Is he Chris Perry? No, but he is a key component to the offense that will be relied upon heavily down the stretch.

oh dilksy you slay me. Couldn't have put it better myself though. But don't be surprised if this year's team MVP is Steve Breaston. At the end of the season his returns were michigan's only bright spot. I don't think Hart is overrated. When he was healthy this past year he showed me some of the best moves I've seen in college football. With the injury those all went away and he was mediocre at best. Regarding the Bears: Jones and Briggs were only demoted because they aren't participating in the offseason program, there is no way they won't be starters come September. Also, the Bears' offense sucked behind Orton, but behind Grossman it was on par with the rest of the NFL, and coupled with one of the best defenses in NFL history, that makes a super bowl team.

I'm excited for the Michigan team next year . . . but a little cautious. If Henne can really improve, and Hart stays healthy, it could be a decent team. There were a lot of promising true freshmen who played last year (Manningham) and they could be a lot better. Breaston is someone you definitely have to watch out for. He's quicker and has a better work ethic than Avant.

You must not watch college football outside of the Big House on some occasions. He doesn't even have the best moves on his team. And to say that his moves are better than those of a Reggie Bush, or Vince Young, that's laughable.

And what are you judging that off of? The 3 games he played this year, where he averaged 150 ypg, 2 TD, 3 INT for a QB rating of 59.7? By the way, those numbers wouldn't even land him in the top 32 in the league, there are backups with better ypg averages and QB ratings than that. There is nothing out of the QB position in Chicago that leads me to believe that offense will be even remotely successful.

Plus any team that's known more for a stupid music video they did in the 80's and for SNL skits about them than for their actual football team has to suck.

\Ditka vs God in a football game, who'd win?
\Trick question, Ditka is God.
\Da Bears

The Colts are going all the way this year. Joseph Addai is the truth, and Peyton will again be on top of his game, provided he doesn't sit out the last three games again. Additionally Adam Vinateri will bring some credibility back to the position of kicker. $#$)#@(U$ vanderjagt...oh well, he's with TO now

I'm not saying other people aren't important, just that the main three you hear about are Henne, Lloyd, and Mike Hart. And occasionally Breaston when he does something amazing. Keep in mind my comment was directed at someone who was writing down "Lions are a football team from Detroit" in her mental notebook =P.

I disagree. Leon Hall is the best player, best prospect, and most important player. Hall is the best corner in the country. Woodley is behind Georgia's Moses and Clemson's Adams when it comes to DEs. Although Jake Long and Breaston are very talented as well. All 4 should be first day picks in the 07 draft.

Perhaps I should have said the Bears' "point production" rather than offense. Consider that a quarterback isn't the only source of points, so when you couple Rex's numbers with the solid numbers Jones put up and the sick amount of points our defense scores, you have "point production" that is on par with any team in the league, and coupled with the best defense, that wins you a Super Bowl. Plus Mark Bradley is back this year. Just wait and see.

And since when is Leon Hall the best corner in the country?? Maybe I've been missing something big here. I would have been reluctant to put him in the top 20

So now you want to argue points (this is getting great). You say that the Bears are "on par with any team in the league"? What a ridiculous statement. I don't even know why I continue to speak, maybe it's because I like embarassing you and your stupidity.

The 3 games Grossman started, the Bears had 21, 16, and 24 points (average of 20.6) To put that "on par with any team in the league", such as the Seahawks who averaged 28.3 points, or the Colts who averaged 27.4 points, it's ridiculous.

And to consider that only 14 of the 61 points were as a result of Grossman's passing, that tells you how stagnant the offense has been with him behind center. To put that in contrast, the Bears defense had 7 points in those 3 games. The defense was scoring almost as many points as the QB.

But still, I knew Alabama-Huntsville had a D1 hockey team (and what conference, and pretty much every other team in that conference), and you didn't even know they existed. Where's your excuse for that, young lady?

Also, the Bears suck. But instead of explaining why, I'll just sit back and wait until the season to laugh at you when they don't win the superbowl.
