Probability for getting into SEAS....

I want to apply to Columbia SEAS probably ED next year. I love the school the atmosphere and everything and it's my top choice

Stats:
SAT: 2320 (800M, 740CR, 780W)
GPA: 3.8ish (terribly low but upward trend)
Rank: Top Decile

State: Pa (decrepit highschool, one kid went to Columbia a few years ago

APs:
Bio
Physics B&C (C self study)
Language and comp
Stats (slight self study)
Macro& Microeconomics (self study)

I took Calc 1 and Calc 2 at a college during sophomore year

Summer I will attend a math program hosted at a college(pretty well known)

I have alot of EC's:
Chess Team (Varsity 3 years)
Scholastic Scrimmage (Varsity 3 years, captain senior year)
Science Olympiad( few state and regional medals)
Chamber Orchestra
Community Orchestra
FBLA(regional and state awards)
Model Congress
Mock Trial
NHS

I want to form Mu Theta Alpha at my school

Awards: a few math awards, want to try to have physics research published, regional neuroscience competition awards

I don't know if having peculiar hobbies count but I play ukulele and might submit a song just because and I also have an insect collection that I have gathered that I will end up donating to a local museum

I think my essays will be really good as I want to go here and I'll probably start months ahead of time to find the best things to write

please guys :/

Chill out, it has only been 4 hours. Columbia forum isn’t the most active on the board.

The GPA’s gonna hurt you, but your stellar SAT Score and neuroscience competition awards help mitigate that, but I wouldn’t say completely. But I’d say you have as good a shot as anyone else applying in the low-middle range? *Defining middle-high range as people with some national-tier awards and hooks.

this failed miserably
