Probability of getting in?

So I want to attend NC State in the fall of 2018 and I am a high school senior. I have an amazing GPA, many extracurriculars, but my scores are atrocious. I do not test well at all and it definitely shows. I know State has a Junior Civitan program so I’m hoping that will give me extra points since I’m highly active with that club. I also work around 20 hours a week and have taken 2 AP classes and my school only offers 4 but I signed up to take more but I was the only interest in the course. Let me know what you guys think… I am really hoping to get accepted. I have already submitted for early application

Honestly, you are at the bottom range of acceptance. Very unlikely you would be offered acceptance at a 22. A high GPA and a low SAT/ACT generally means your high school and district was not very academic. I’d take the ACT once more and try to get it up to a 26 then they will look differently at you.

My school actually ranks as the top 20 high schools in NC so the academics are pretty competitive, but I doubt that will change anything. One thing I didn’t mention is that I am dual enrolled with a local college with around 30 credits and I have gotten an A in all of my courses taken so I have a perfect GPA for college

Only 3% of the accepted Class of 2022 had a 23 ACT or lower. You have to get that ACT score up to have better chances. What high school are you graduating from.

I will be graduating from Woods Charter
