<p>Probably good chances for Berkeley. You have to really stand out for Stanford, and that’s hard to tell from the info provided. 95 out of 100 applicants get denied. Not sure about UPenn. Do you have any academic awards or ECs related to chemistry? </p>
<p>What does the rest of your college list look like? Unfortunately, Stanford and Penn are probably out of reach, Berkeley is a bit less of a reach but as long as you have a reasonable group of matches and a safety or two give it a shot.</p>
<p>UCB College of Chemistry is very difficult to get into even for the CA folks. Definitely opt for some safeties. Why UPenn for ChemE when there are so many good schools in CA itself, incl. UCSB ?</p>
