<p>In general, yes, since scholarships are an indicator that you have qualities others have found admirable. But it really depends on the particular reason for the scholarship and the institution. The Ivies are not impressed by National Merit Finalists, while other places you are going to get admitted (as long as grades are not poor) and they will give you additional funds.</p>
