And by where, I mean, generally, do they work in urban centers or suburbs or in the rural areas? I’m a sophomore ME and I found out that I really like the city, and I kinda don’t want to go back to the suburbs. Just asking if you all work in the city or in the 'burbs.
Most engineers don’t work in rural areas, in fact, most people don’t work in rural areas, which are all low population centers. You’re as likely to find a job in the suburbs as in an urban area.

@Gator88NE Thank you for the response. I guess when I thought of rural areas, I was thinking of large plains like my local Lockheed Martin base. I used to love the suburbs, but after getting a taste of the city, I think it’s much more engaging and pretty.
