Probably the dumbest thing you've heard in a while.

I think I might've gotten my city of birth wrong on my University of California application.
For some odd reason I put the city that I'm living in right now instead of my city of birth.
Now, what the hell do I do? Holy crap. I'm so stupid -_-
If I call them will they change it for me, or do you think it's not a big deal?
Or am I just screwed?

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. They probably won’t notice/care. I think the only time this matters is when you’re logging into your account for the first time and they ask for it. Other than that, you don’t need to worry

Similar dilemma – I accidentally entered in one of the digits in my SSN wrong :P.

I called every college I applied to, and they said it needed to be in writing for it to be changed. You should either send an email with the correction to the UG admissions office, or send them a fax.

I called them and they told me to email them and tell them the change.
I realized that I messed something up too and they told me to email them the correction!

haha dont worry. I didnt even know my birth city until few months ago because I grew up in another place right after I was born lol

Lol I’m sure you’ll be fine. People probably make applications mistakes all the time (I definitely messed up some minor things on an application or two). Just call or e-mail the admissions office; they may be so swamped that they probably won’t even ask you to change it.

Speechie: Having the wrong SSN is much more of a dilemma. On the contrary, having down the wrong birth place won’t matter, only your current residence. Even if you were born in the state of the university, you wouldn’t qualify for in-state tuition if you and your parents are living in a different state now. Make sure your current residence is fine and there shouldn’t be a problem.
