Probelms With The Search Function

Okay, this part of the forum really doesn’t work for me. I don’t know why. I finally gave up on using it when I got this message in my last search:

… just to give you an idea of how well it has been working for me. Everything else works fine, and I don’t understand why this doesn’t work, also.

Anything I can do to solve this?
