<p>so i finally got around to checking my application status thing for binghamton and it said the school was harpurUG. ...but i want to apply to SOM!!!! and i even put as interest business. and as degree hope to be earned MBA...it says under interest:economics,economics.</p>

<p>Did you put economics down as a major of interest? That is a Harpur major and you would be placed in Harpur. Did you mark any of the SOM majors down (accounting, management, etc.)? An MBA is a graduate degree so you can’t apply for it on an undergrad application.</p>
<p>under academic interests i put interst one (the primary one): business interest 2:econ interst 3: undecided. </p>
<p>and under career interst i put business executive</p>
<p>I think you need to contact admissions and confirm that the application is in for SOM. If it’s not, ask them how to change it. It seems as though they took the Econ interest as the primary.</p>

<p>I would call them if you have concerns. My Son applied and put finance as a first choice and Economics as a second choice. It is showing that he is applying to the SOM as his first choice. I would not panic just yet. Just call them after the Holiday.</p>
<p>Will we be able to see decisions online? Will they be rolling or do we wait until January?</p>
