Problem: Cancelling ACT Scores being Sent to Colleges

I registered for the ACT in a last ditch effort to offset my average SAT scores. I also had ACT send scores directly to schools. Then I got my back my SAT scores and went up by 240 points to a 2090! Now my ACT score that I just got back for the October 28th test is alright but nowhere near my 2090. So basically I took it for nothing. But now I need to cancel the report that will be sent to the four schools that will be sent out to those colleges so they only see my SAT scores. Do i contact those schools or the ACT organization?

call ACT and see what they can do.

You can try calling ACT. But i think the deadline for changing scores being sent was the thursday after the test. We did that because our daughter did not finish the math and we suspected her scores would drop (which they did). I would be interested to hear if you can still cancel at this stage so please post when you find out.

hey, what ever happened with this. Did they allow you to cancel your score. I'm in a similar situation and just want the "heads up" before I call tomorrow. Hope everything was cancelled...really hoping

dont worry about it. the schools should look at the highest scores (your SATs) anyway
